Claudio
Pozzani was born in 1961 in Genoa (Italy).
Poet,
narrator and musician, he is appreciated
in Italy and abroad for his poetic performances
in the most important literary festivals
in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
His poems have been translated into
more than 10 languages and have appeared
in important anthologies and magazines
of international contemporary poetry.
In
1983 created the cultural association
Circolo dei Viaggiatori nel Tempo (CVT).
1983-
1993: organisation with CVT of several
national and international events:
- Plastic City Party (1983) : 1st European
Festival of Arts and new Technology
- Tempo d'estate (1984) - Festival of
new tendencies of dance, poetry, music
and theatre.
- Start the CVT Club, an art centre
in Genoa for concerts, readings, expositions,
open from 1985 to 1999.
Since
1994 he initiated with CVT and he is
the director of several poetry festival
and events in Europe:

and poets in Genoa.
In 2000 set up the Casa Internazionale
della Poesia in Genoa (International
House of the Poetry) - www.casapoesia.org
He represented Italy in the Unesco commission
for poetry that decided the World Poetry
Day (21st of March) in 2000.
His last books are the novel Kate
et moi (La passe du vent, France)
and poetry collection Saudade &
Spleen (Lanore Editions, Paris)
that is at its 3rd edition.
